Welcome to our new blog page! We’ve decided to launch a blog for several reasons, and hope you’ll enjoy reading our updates.
Firstly, we’re passionate about what we do, and are keen to demystify the funeral industry. As such, our advice will always be free, and what better way to reach out than to share our message online. Many of our updates will provide further details on our team and the funeral industry, allowing you to research various aspects of organising a funeral, discuss your wishes with your loved ones, and stay up-to-date with advancements within the industry.
Secondly, we’re pushing forward with our aim to help those within our local communities. As an independent and family-run business, we are highly aware of the localities in which we exist, and that the people and places around us are important. We are keen to support our local communities, and will be detailing information regarding what we’re up to here – whether we’re helping at a fundraising event, providing print materials, or promoting good causes, we’ll let you know what’s going on.
Thirdly, we’re looking to inspire conversations. Death can be a sensitive subject, and whilst we will always handle it as such, we would like to impress upon people that the idea of discussing death does not make it happen. Within our day to day role, we see many friends and relatives of the deceased who concern themselves hugely with what the deceased would want, however this worry could be alleviated by a conversation prior to a death. We’ll be discussing further how you may go about achieving this, particularly during May, when we’ll be hosting some special events to celebrate Dying Matters Awareness Week.
Finally, we’d love to hear what you think. Is there something in particular that you’d like to know more about? If so, get in touch, and we’ll do our best to answer your queries within this page.
You can expect an update soon – we look forward to telling you more.
