J. Gumbrill Monumental Masons
J. Gumbrill has been designing, making and supplying memorials since 1905.

Gumbrill offers a range of elegant and distinctive memorials in traditional and contemporary designs, fashioned from the finest granite, limestone and marble. As professionally-registered fixers, J. Gumbrill staff are also able to undertake renovations large and small.

Our letter cutting team is headed by Rob Jolly. Between them, the team have many years experience in the lettering trade. They are highly skilled in all types of lettering from the complex raised lead to the relatively-simple computer cut stencil.
Richard is J. Gumbrill’s Monumental Mason. He has a City and Guilds qualification and is on the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) register of qualified fixers (RQMF), as are some other members of our team. He is also a British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) registered fixer. He is usually assisted by Daniel – one of our Funeral Service Operatives – and Richard’s dog, Marley!
